The Runcible Jones Quintet

A  children's fantasy quintet which Ian Irvine began writing nearly a decade ago. It was originally titled 'The Children War Series.' The first book, Runcible Jones: The Gate to Nowhere, has already been publised and the remaining four should be published one each year.

The Runcible Jones Quintet is set on twinned worlds, one rather like our own and another, Iltior, a world where science has been suppressed and magic holds sway. For thousands of years the two worlds have been in balance, each subtly influencing the other, but recently Earth's rapid advancement has upset that balance, and Iltior is threatened. For its own survival, it has to do something about Earth ...
